Job Description

Neptunus aims to grow our Engineering Business 10x over the next 5 years, by adding to our Engine Solutions, Reliability Engineering Solutions in the Oil and Gas, Marine, Industrial, and Defense Sectors. We have a strong brand in the Marine and the Oil & Gas sectors. We provide end to end solutions for engine repairs & ship repair. We also provide condition based maintenance, remote asset monitoring, oil management, predictive diagnostic tools and IOT solutions to enhance equipment life and ensure zero failures for engines & other rotating assets.

This role will be able to build and grow business in the oil & gas & marine sector, and enable Neptunus to become one-stop technology solution provider in a growing market.

Roles and Responsibilities

Secure Sales of INR 25 crores in 1st year, and 40 crores over 3 years from Engine spares & services and engine management solution

Solution Selling:

  • As a solution Sales professional, you must be able to communicate the technical details and capabilities of our services to clients & demonstrate how it will meet the client's needs.
  • Represent the company's solutions effectively by developing comprehensive knowledge of its offerings.

Account Development

  • Prospect upcoming opportunities for existing list of prospects like Maersk, BMS, V-ships, Bourbon, Adnoc Logistics etc
  • Visit decision makers of existing accounts (territory India & Dubai)
  • Handle objections and drive negotiations for hot opportunities (opportunities above 15 lakhs)
  • Close sales to add target throughput (INR 11cr)

Customer Relationship Management

  • Manage and Engage Accounts (accounts that has the potential to contribute 3 cr of throughput)
  • Grow accounts through upselling and cross selling
  • Ensure timely collections to ensure a payment cycle of < 45 days.

Drive Customer Delight to 4.5 out of 5 across all Customers.

  • Provide responses to queries, provide solutions based on Customer pains in consultation with internal team
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other engineering service, Operations team members and be the face for the Customer.

Build Database of Customers to build pipeline for future

  • Maintain Customer Data in CRM software and create projections
  • Provide intelligence to ops/engineering team for preparation of quote and proposals

Desired Candidate Profile

Knowledge (Functional and Non-Technical):

  • 5+ years of experience in sales: prospecting, need creation, follow up, closing sales, account development and customer relationship management.
  • Track Record of adding 3-5 NEW Customers OR 2 cr from new Customers per year over the past 2 years
  • Experience with using CRM software(s)
  • 2+ years Experience in selling engine spares/services
  • 3+ years Experience in marine/oil & gas sector
  • Should have achieved 80% of sales target on year on year basis

Skills (Functional and Non-Technical):

  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas, make presentations in English
  • Negotiation skills
