Roles and Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to actively drive and contribute to the business growth by supporting and working closely with the Business Development Head in prospecting new customers, building strong relation with customers, understanding customer requirements, preparation of quotation, participation in tendering, Negotiation with customer etc to convert leads into order. The role is also to have eyes on competitors and new development in technology in the market. This role will be able to build and grow business in India and the international market and enable Neptunus to become one-stop technology solution provider in a growing market.

Job Responsibilities:
Day to day sales activities:

ZOHO CRM / SAP entries
Email responses
Enq/ Quote / Order Booking
Make Quotes / Fill Tenders
Track Open ENQ / Quote / Orders and Invoices for a closure
Follow ups/ Expediting stuck issues
Track Inventory
Take accountability End to End on the task undertaken
Red flag stuck issues and seek closure from the senior
Prepare Sales Notes / documentation / Presentations where
Attend Exhibition as per the need
Write professional Emails / Intro emails / Email campaigns
MIS generation and strive for no open issues monthly basis

Drive QVC on Above parts : \
Be thorough / attain Mastery on the Products/ Tech you sell
( Training/ Invest time to research / learn from competition
Be Accountable to deliver Quality, Cost and in time of the
tasks you undertake

QMS Compliances:
High Traceability of the work done and weekly / Monthly reflect
the work done.
Maintain Database in CRM / traceability of your work ( store right
docs / Info in right place so that we can retrieve when in need )
Be guided by the Core Values
MIS are generated as per the set timelines
Documents are stored / updated properly so that there are no Silos
while working

Desired Candidate Profile

Knowledge/Skills/Behaviors:Must Have /Nice to Have
At Least 2 to 3 Yrs of sales experience : of Projects ( Tailor made solution);
prospecting, Linked in skills; need creation, follow up, account development and
customer relationship management. - M
At Least 3 Yrs of experience in working on long TAT projects / BD Opportunities - M
Experience with using ZOHO CRM or Equivalent software(s) - M
Exposure to Bidding / Tendering /dealing with PSU / Capex Sales - M
Understand Incoterms / Commercials - N
Knowledge of handling Google Docs / Drive / Slides - M

Skills (Functional and Non-Technical):
Fluent in English. Can write a 4 page grammatically correct report
independently. M
Ability to articulate, thoughts and ideas, Quick / Good presentations in English M
Sales Training ( Should have gone through at least 1 or 2 Formal Training on
Sales) M
Evidences to prove Tender Submission / Final Negotiations capabilities M

Whats the purpose of this role?

Neptunus is a service company. The first step of delivering excellent customer service begins with order processing; order confirmation and order delivery. All 3 facets of customer service lies with the commercial/supply chain management teams. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by preparing Quotes on time upon receipt of an RFQ; negotiating with suppliers for better lead times; tracking order readiness for critical spare parts and proactively informing customers, providing alternative solutions to parts shortage, seamless documentation for order processing and invoicing to ensure on-time delivery of spare parts and goods to each customer in your portfolio.

Your work philosophy must be delivering QVC to the customer. QUALITY customer service, with VELCOITY and within agreed COSTS that ensure Neptunus’ and the customer’s commercial gains are maintained.
